A Foreign Cooperation Initiative Was Held Between the Unud Faculty of Medicine and Weill Cornell Medicine, Cornell University, New York

 

In order to increase foreign cooperation partners related to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially with universities that are included in the QS 100 list, the Faculty of Medicine has initiated online collaborations to see possible collaborations that can be carried out by both parties (8/7/2022).

 

The event was attended by the Vice Chancellor for Planning, Cooperation and Information, Prof. Dr. dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, M.Kes., Dean of FK Unud Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information Prof. dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., Representative of the Office of International Affairs Unud Ns. Ni Komang Ari Sawitri, S.Kep., M.Sc., PhD., UPIKS Coordinator Dr. dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, M.Kes., Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suastika, Sp.PD-KEMD., Dr. dr. Cokorda Bagus Jaya Lesmana, Sp.KJ (K), MARS., Dr. dr. I Putu Eka Widyadarma, M.Sc., Sp.S(K).,FIN., Head of Department of Psychiatry dr. Ni Ketut Putri Ariani, Sp.KJ., and Psychiatric Specialist Study Program Coordinator, dr. Luh Nyoman Alit Aryani, Sp.KJ(K) FK Unud.

From Cornell University attended by Prof. Elkhonon Golberg and Prof. Michael G. Stewart, M.D., M.P.H. – from International Affairs.

 

The collaboration will be followed up with more detailed meetings related to plans for cooperation in curriculum development, student exchange, capacity building for human resources, and research, especially in the field of genomics-based precision medicine. This collaboration is expected to improve the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
