Unit Inter Professional Education (IPE) FK Unud Provides Education on the Importance of Interprofessional Learning for Students

The background is the increasing complexity of health care problems, the number of fragmented health services, the demands for the quality of health services and better health outcomes, the importance of interprofessional learning for students from an early age, and the large number of lecturers who do not know/understand IPE. The Inter Professional Education (IPE) Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held an Inter Professional Education workshop, in a hybrid way from the Prof. room. dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah, FK Campus, Denpasar. (8/7/2022)

This event presents 2 speakers, namely dr. I Gusti Ayu Sri Darmayani, S.Ked., Sp. OG., M.Pd. Ked., and Ns. Made Oka Ari Kamayani, S.Kep., M.Kep., and Desak Ketut Ernawati S.Si. Apt., PG.Pharm., M.Pharm., Ph.D., acted as moderator

This workshop was held with the aim of disseminating information and deepening understanding of IPE to all FK and FMIPA Unud lecturers, so that internal strengthening occurred which in the future could be continued with external activities to the international level.

Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT. (K) who was present offline expressed his appreciation for the holding of this workshop and hoped that in the future IPE would be superior at Udayana University and become a benchmarking goal for other universities.

"We hope that in the future IPE will not only be at the University, but in the future it can go international and collaborate with other universities," he said.

This event was also attended by the Coordinator of the IPE Unit, Dr. dr. Urged Ketut Indrasari Utami, Sp. S (K), and was attended by participants from the study program coordinators as well as two lecturer representatives from each study program at FK Unud.
