FK Unud Holds Bali Infectious Disease Symposium XIV and National Seminar of Infectious Disease 2022

 

To develop and update knowledge, especially in the field of tropical and infectious diseases, the Internal Medicine Study Program in collaboration with the Doctoral Study Program of Medical Sciences, Udayana University held the Bali Infectious Disease Symposium XIV and the National Seminar of Infectious Disease 2022 online on 24-25 June 2022 .

 

The first day of the event, June 24, 2022, was filled with workshops that presented speakers who were experts in their fields. In addition, a free oral paper presentation competition was held in the form of case report presentations and research. The competition was attended by 33 participants spread throughout Indonesia.

 

The symposium was opened with remarks from the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, FK Unud, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K). He expressed his hope that this symposium can provide updates on knowledge and can be practiced in service to the community to overcome diseases in the tropics and infections.

 

The purpose of holding the Bali Infectious Disease Symposium XIV is to help health practitioners to always be up to date in providing treatment to patients so that they are maximal and in accordance with current scientific developments.

 

This activity was also attended by the Chairperson of the Bali branch of PAPDI, Dr. dr. I Gusti Putu Suka Aryana, SpPD, KGer, FINASIM, Head of Department/KSM of Internal Medicine FK Unud/Sanglah Hospital Dr. dr. Wira Gotera, SpPD, KEMD, FINASIM, and the Coordinator of the Internal Medicine Specialist Study Program, FK UNUD/Sanglah Hospital, Dr. dr. Yenny Kandarini, SpPD, KGH, FINASIM.
