Taking Place for 4 days, a Total of 5,612 Participants Took the Exam at the UTBK-SNBT Center of Udayana University

Jimbaran - Udayana University (Unud) is one of the centers for implementing the Computer-Based Writing Examination for the National Selection Based on Test (UTBK-SNBT) for New Student Admissions in 2025. UTBK-SNBT at Unud took place over four days, namely on 26, 27, 28 and 29 April 2025. The number of exam sessions that took place at the Unud UTBK-SNBT Center was 8 sessions with a total of 5,612 UTBK participants. people, where every day the test is divided into two exam sessions, namely morning and afternoon.

The first day of the morning session was attended by 763 participants and the afternoon session was attended by 764 participants, the second day was attended by 767 participants for the morning session and 765 participants for the afternoon session. Then on the third day there were 765 participants for the morning session and 760 participants for the afternoon session, and on the fourth day there were 721 participants for the morning session and 307 participants for the afternoon session. From the distribution of participants per location, the number of participants who took the exam at the Denpasar Campus location was 2,288 participants divided into 7 exam sessions and at the Jimbaran Campus location was 3,324 participants divided into 8 exam sessions.

The UTBK implementation locations are spread across computer labs on the Denpasar Campus and Jimbaran Campus using as many as 30 rooms. The number of participants taking the exam at the UTBK-SNBT Unud Center in 2025 will increase by around 11.59 percent from last year, totaling 5,029 participants. A total of 83.11 percent of participants came from Bali and 16.89 percent from outside Bali. The test material in the 2025 UTBK consists of two components, namely the Scholastic Potential Test (TPS) and the Literacy Test. The Scholastic Potential Test consists of general reasoning, general knowledge and understanding, reading and writing comprehension, and quantitative knowledge. Meanwhile the Literacy Test consists of Literacy in Indonesian, Literacy in English and Mathematical Reasoning.

To take part in the UTBK SNBT, participants are required to follow the rules, including having to know the location and exam room the day before the exam takes place, bringing an Exam Participant Identity Card and a photocopy of a SMA/SMK/MA diploma or equivalent that has been legalized as well as another original Identity Card containing a photo of the participant. Participants are also prohibited from wearing T-shirts and must wear shoes. If you are late for any reason from the start time of the test, participants will not be allowed to take the exam. Participants are also prohibited from bringing other equipment in accordance with existing regulations such as calculators, cell phones, watches and others.

Participants who may take part in UTBK SNBT in 2025 are SMA/SMK/MA equivalent graduates in 2023 and 2024, SMA/SMK/MA students in Class 12 or the last class in 2025, or Package C graduates in 2024; 2023 and Package C students in 2025 with a maximum age of 25 years (as of 1 July 2025) and who were not declared to have passed the National Achievement Based Selection (SNBP).

Rector of Udayana University Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST., Ph.D, who directly observed the first day of the UTBK SNBT implementation at the Jimbaran Campus, said that the implementation of the 2025 Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) National Selection Test (SNBT) at Udayana University went smoothly even though at the beginning there were server problems from the UTBK center, but these problems had been handled well.

"Udayana University is committed to holding UTBK as well as possible. Today, the entire exam process went according to plan, and we ensured that all aspects, from the readiness of facilities to strict supervision of exam rules, ran optimally to support smooth implementation," said Prof. Sudarsana.

The Rector hopes that the participants will take this test seriously and uphold honesty and not commit fraudulent acts. For participants who are later declared to have passed, it is hoped that they can take advantage of this opportunity to develop and contribute to the nation. For those who have not succeeded, don't be discouraged, because there is still an opportunity to take the independent test so you can make the best use of this opportunity. Meanwhile, the quota for student admissions via the SNBT route is 40 percent of capacity.

The implementation of UTBK-SNBT at Udayana University also received monitoring and evaluation (Monev) directly from the Monitoring and Evaluation Team of the Central SNPMB Committee, where two people were present to directly observe the implementation of the test which was located at the Jimbaran Campus. The implementation of the Monev was directly accompanied by the Rector together with the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and staff and the Udayana University Monev Team.

Of the 763 participants who took part in the morning session on the first day of UTBK SNBT at Unud, the participant attendance rate reached 94.36 percent. Meanwhile, in the afternoon session of 764 participants, the attendance rate reached 94.90 percent. Meanwhile, the announcement of the UTBK SNBT results is planned for May 28 2025.
