Rector of Udayana University Attends Joint Working Group in France

In order to increase cooperation in the field of Education between the Republic of Indonesia and France, the Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng, IPU together with the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information Prof. Dr. dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, M.Kes participated in the Joint Working Group (JWG) which took place from 28-29 June 2022, at the Haut de France Valenciennes Polytechnic University. This is the 12th JWG held in collaboration with the French Embassy in Indonesia with the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research on the French side and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) and the National Research Agency. and Innovation (BRIN) on the Indonesian side.

This JWG provides many opportunities for presentations, discussions and interactions between ministerial representatives, representatives from the academic world, expert researchers and entrepreneurs. More than 300 participants were registered in the 12th JWG activity and provided various activities such as exhibition stands, presentations, discussions and interactions to help participants establish new contacts/partners.

During the JWB implementation, thematic workshops were also held with a focus on 8 themes, namely: marine and maritime, food and agriculture security, health and medicine, engineering-aeronautical-energy, ICT (Information, communication, and technology), important points for building a European consortium, and tourism.

This event was attended by 80 academics from 32 universities from France and 57 universities from Indonesia (41 universities and 16 polytechnics), one of which was Udayana University. (HM)
