THE IMPORTANCE OF REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH, COMPLETED AS A DAY OF KARTINI DAYS

Denpasar - Thursday (19/04/2018), Udayana University Women's Studies Center held a Kartini Day Seminar at Graduate Building, Denpasar. The theme of this year's Kartini Day is "Through Kartini Day We Increase Awareness to Maintain Indonesian Women's Reproductive Health". The seminar was attended by the Rector, Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty, followed by the cutting of cone as a series of Kartini Day celebrations that fell on 21 April.

Dr. drh. Urged Nyoman Dewi Indira Laksmi as the Chairman of the Committee to convey the implementation of the seminar in order to commemorate Kartini Day is as an effort to improve and improve the quality of the nation and state through increasing awareness of the importance of maintaining reproductive health of women, from which the womb will be born the younger generation of the nation. The seminar participants come from representatives of various faculties within Unud and representatives from Warmadewa University, and present the resource person from FK Unud, Prof. Dr. dr. Alex Pangkahila and dr. Made Dwi Aryana, Sp.OG.

Rector of Unud, Prof. Dr. dr. A.A Raka Sudewi, Sp.S (K) in his speech conveyed this activity into a momentum interpreting the services of female warriors namely RA Kartini. The result of his struggle became a pride and provided a change for women in Indonesia compared to some other countries that still restrict women's activities. The topic raised in the seminar is very appropriate considering the role of women is very important to give birth to a great generation. The Rector also gave appreciation to the organizers and speakers who attended the seminar hoping the seminar can provide benefits for women. (HM)
