Program Study Physiotherapy FK Unud is Expected to be a Pioneer
Denpasar - Physiotherapy Program of Faculty of Medicine Udayana University (FK Unud), on Monday (10/10/2017) visited by LAM-PTKes Assessor Team in order to visitation of Study Program accreditation. Assessor team consisting of Syahmirza Indra Lesmana, SKM, SST.Ft., M.OR and Umi Budi Rahayu, S.Pd.SST.Ft., M.Kes and they were received directly by the Rector of Unud, the Dean of FK and the Head of Physiotherapy Program Study at the Sidang Room 4th floor Faculty of Medicine Unud Campus Sudirman Denpasar. The event was attended by Secretary of LP3M, Head of Library of Udayana University, Representative of Sanglah Hospital, Representative of Unud Hospital, stake holders and alumnus.
Rector of Unud, Prof. Dr. dr. A.A Raka Sudewi, Sp.S (K) conveyed that the accreditation has been regulated in the law so that the Study Program is expected not to be negligent because if the expiry accreditation period can have a considerable impact. In addition, the status of accreditation greatly determines the fate of graduates in obtaining employment. Related to this matter, the Head of Study Program is expected seriously to pay attention to the importance of this accreditation. Rector hopes the assessor can give input to the study program if there are still incomplete things so that the Study Program can get the best value. Rector also expressed appreciation to all parties who have contributed in this visitation process and this process can run smoothly according to the plan.

Representing the Assessor Team, Syahmirza Indra Lesmana conveyed that the arrival of the assessor was to verify the form which has been sent before. In addition it was also intended to take the real fact of the form because there are some data that cannot be translated with words. Syahmirza further said that Asesor has no right to give value. The value will be determined by the Assembly, the Assessor's assignments only submit the report.
The Accreditation Process for the Study Program is aimed to provide the best service to the community. If the quality of administration is good, then the quality of service will be good too. Bali has the largest Physiotherapy Study Program in Indonesia, and Unud is one of the milestones in the development of physotherapy. Syahmirza hoped that Unud as a pioneer can show the best quality or quality through the best accreditation value. (HM)
