OJK and UNUD Signed MoU, on Launching Bali Center For Sustainable Finance and National Seminary for Sustainable Finance 2017
Denpasar - Udayana University in collaboration with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) held Launching Bali Center For Sustainable Finance (BCSF) and National Seminary on Sustainable Finance2017, Wednesday (12/07/2017) in Post Graduate Room. Present on this occasion, Expert Staff of Minister of Research and Technology and Expert Staff of Minister of Environment and Forestry were as keynote speaker, Chairman of Board of Commissioner of OJK and members, Governor of Bali, Rector of Unud and about 200 participants consisting of academics and invitations which engaged in banking.

Rector of Unud, Prof. Dr. Dr. Ketut Suastika, Sp.PD-KEMD in his speech expressed his pride for being selected as OJK partner in establishing BCSF. With the construction of this center becomes a plus for Unud to take part in the international world and become one of the universities that recommended at the international level. Rector also expressed his appreciation to the Chairman of the Board of the FSA Commissioner who had the initiative to build this center and choose Unud as a partner with hope that every aims of the establishment of this center can be reached in the future.

The Governor of Bali, Made Mangku Pastika in his speech welcomed and supported the establishment of BCSF. In the future, this Center is expected to become a center of study and learning for financial service industry players that considered sustainable national finance programs require reliable and professional human resources. The Governor also gave appreciation to Unud who has contributed to the formation of BCSF so that the role for national development.
Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of OJK, Muliaman D. Hadad hopes that through this BCSF, Unud can develop scientific publications that related to sustainable finance, considering the research which related to financial services problem that is still very limited. Of course also needs support from Kemenristek Dikti to help scientific publications in the national journal ahead.

In this event also held the signing of Memorandum of Understanding between OJK and Unud with the scope of Memorandum of Understanding covering the Implementation of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi through education, research, and community service in the framework of development of financial services sector, improvement of Finance Literation and the development of Bali Center for Sustainable Finance. Completed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding that followed by the launching of BCSF and it marked by the signing of the charter.
After the launch of BCSF, the event was continued with National Seminary on Sustainable Finance with the theme "Sustainable Finance as a Key Instrument to the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals" presented four speakers, namely PT BNI Director of Compliance and Risk Management Imam Budi Sarjito, Associate Professor UGM, Poppy Ismalina, Ph .D, Senior Officer of Sustainable Banking Network International Finance Corporation, Ms. Wei Yuan and PRIME Consultancy Executive Director of The Renewable Academy / RENAC Expert, Mr. Volker Bromund.
