Denpasar – Jum’at (10/03), In order to implement the Regulation of Minister of Finance No. 106 on 2016 about "Procedures for Assessment and Output Proposal Advanced Research and Devotion", Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Unud held the TOT (Training of Trainers) and Refreshing Reviewers in the Hall of Post-Graduate Building, Kampus Unud, PB. Sudirman Street. The event was attended by Prof.Dr. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng. as the Director of DRPM University of Indonesia as well as the chairman of the National Advanced Research Reviewers, Prof. Dr. Ir I Nyoman Gde Antara M.Eng, the Chairman of LPPM Udayana University, national reviewer, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Sucipta, M., Prof.Dr.Ir I Gde Rai Maya Temaja, M.P., and Prof. I Nyoman Arya Thanaya, ME, Ph.D. who also became the speaker, the Udayana University Professors and lecturers in the environment of Udayana University who have completed a doctoral program.

TOT (Training of Trainer) is done to socialize the Regulation of Minister of Finance Number 106 on 2016 as well as the refreshing reviewer of reserach and devotion of LPPM Unud. It was intended to train as well as test the feasibility of the participants and the potential of the participants to become the members of Reviewer of LPPM Udayana University in 2017. In connection with the Minister Regulation, LPPM also will examine the results of research or product output in previous years in order to avoid any discrepancies between the results and the reality.
Moreover, the lack of reviewer LPPM amount in the previous year made the performance of LPPM abit overwhelmed in examining proposals that were proposed by each faculties. "The proposal were a lot, yet the reviewers were so few. If so, we are also a little confused to examine the proposal. Do not be surprised when the proposals from the faculty of Law were checked by the faculty of agriculture", said Prof. Dr. Ir I Nyoman Gde Antara M.Eng, the Chairman of LPPM Udayana University when giving a speech.
In addition to the above statement, the LPPM's Chairman of Udayana University, Prof. Antara also urged the lecturers at Udayana, especially those who already got the Doctoral Degree, to increase the research and service to the society, remembering the small number of Indonesia research publications in the international area. "The research and publication of Indonesia are still inferior to Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. For the future, for the professors, you have to make research so that our position from year to year is getting better. Both in the national and ASEAN countries. After the TOT was done, there is the availability of the lecturers who are willing to join the reviewer. So it can help LPPM in other to do the assignments." He added. (mimi)
