Alliance Students Executive Board (BEM) All Over Bali Dewata Dwipa Held Peaceful Action Youth Pledge

Commemorate Youth Pledge Day, the Alliance of Student Executive Board (BEM) in Bali Dewata Dwipa holding a peaceful action, Friday (28/10). In addition to the commemoration of Youth Pledge Day, the action also coincides with the momentum of two years Jokowi-JK administration. The combined action of five different universities were held with a march and speeches from the east parking of Renon Park only to end up in front of the office of the Governor of Bali.

In this action, the students raised two main issues, namely the rejection of Benoa Bay reclamation project and hope Amnesty. They hope that Tax Amnesty program will run well and properly. They hope the program can be run transparently so that the public can participate oversee the program. "This action held after several hearings before. Currently there is no act firmly on the government to accommodate the voices of rejection from the people of Bali, "said Seira Tamara, Coordinating Minister of Social and Environmental Assessment BEM PM Udayana University.


In addition to raising two major issues, hundreds of students from Udayana University, Undiknas University, Bali State Polytechnic, STIKI, and STIMIK Primakara. It also referred to the problems of education and infrastructure in Bali.

Students hope that through this action they claim to be heard by the government and immediate response. Resolutely they convey will wait and continue to oversee aspirations for feedback from stakeholders.(suparta)
