IndonesiaNATIONAL SEMINAR OF FACULTY OF FISHERIES AND MARINE SCIENCE UDAYANA UNIVERSITY
Taking place at the Institute of Peace and Democration Bukit Jimbaran, Badung, Bali , Saturday (8/10, national seminar of Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science presented three speakers. The first speaker was I Wayan Patut, founder of Karya Segara, Serangan Bali, Dr. Musthofa Iman Zainudinof Indonesia WWF Coordinator and the last was Prof. Rochim Dahuri Msc, former minister of Maritime and Fisheries Affairs from mutual cooperation affairs
In this seminar, the material presented by the speaker had been divided by the committee, namely micro, medium, to the macro natured material. All the three speakers presented a topic according to themes raised which was Ethics of the Society Against Environment In Marine Exploration for the Advancement in Indonesian Maritime.
The first speaker, I Wayan Patut was addressing the preservation of coral reefs and mangroves in Serangan Island after reclamation on 1997-1998. Dr. Iman Zainudin Musthofa spoke about the role of youth in the preservation of marine and as wellmas its resources. The last one, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rokhim Dahuri MS was discussing about the potential of the Indonesian seas, bringing up the condition of its marine resources which can turn Indonesia into a prosperous, sovereign and advanced country. Another topic to be discussed was how to make Indonesia as the world's maritime axis through national marine development strategy.
The seminar was held to celebrate the marine and fice festival which was the series of events of 5th FKP anniversarry. 1st Vice Rector who was officially asked to open the seminar also attended the event. Other invitee were marine and fisheries departments of the Badung regency, representatives of the Navy, representatives the departmenet of marine and fisheries Warmadewa University, as well as the participants who filled the IPD Bukit Jimbaran hall.
