Udayana University Holds Coordination Meeting Regarding Implementation of RPL and Fast Track Programs
Jimbaran - Coordination Meeting to Discuss Changes to Academic Guidelines, Guidelines for Implementing RPL Programs and Fast Track of Udayana University (Unud) in 2025 took place in the Bangsa Room, Rectorate Building, Jimbaran Campus, Thursday (3/20/2025). This meeting also presented two speakers from the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, namely Dewi Wulandari, S.Si with material on Principles and Policies for Implementing Prior Learning Recognition (RPL) and Sujud Widodo with material on RPL Technical Policy, SIERRA System and Assessment/Evaluation.
Rector of Unud Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana in his remarks said that through this activity, it is hoped that clearer information can be obtained both in terms of regulations and good practices that must be followed, especially in relation to reporting and the legal umbrella that permits the implementation of this designed program. Of course, it is hoped that all programs designed regarding this learning process will not result in a problem in reporting at PDDikti later.
"Therefore, the procedure for implementing this program will be heard from the speakers who are present who are expected to provide enlightenment and understanding," said the Rector.
The Speaker Dewi Wulandari said that RPL is an acknowledgment of a person's Learning Achievements obtained from formal, non-formal, informal education, and/or work experience as a basis for continuing formal education and for equivalency with certain qualifications. There are two types of RPL, namely RPL to continue formal education or RPL type A and RPL to equivalency with certain qualifications or RPL type B.
The principles of RPL implementation are Accessibility, Transparency, Equality and Quality Assurance. Higher education leaders must establish regulations regarding guidelines for RPL implementation that include procedures for registration, assessment and recognition of credits; recognition scheme; maximum credit limit/credits that can be recognized; length of study; financing; and quality assurance of RPL implementation.
Meanwhile, the speaker Sujud Widodo in his material specifically explained the type of RPL Type A, namely credit acquisition and credit transfer as well as data synchronization in the SIERRA system with PDDikti. Higher education institutions report their readiness to implement RPL via the sierra.kemdikbud.go.id page.
