Re-accreditation Field Assessment, LAM-PTKes Assessor Team Visits the Nursing Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University

Denpasar - Field Assessment in the context of Re-accreditation of the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program and the Nursing Professional Program of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (Unud) by the Assessor Team of the Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes) took place in the Meeting Room of dr. A A. ​​Made Djelantik Unud Medicine Sudirman Campus Denpasar, Thursday (13/2/2025). The Assessor Team present were Rina Nur Hidayati, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep., Sp.Kep.Kom, Dr. Wahyu Hidayati, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.KMB and Dr. Joni Haryanto, S.Kp., M.Sc.

Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Unud Prof. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih in his various articles stated that according to existing regulations, the accreditation process must be followed by all educational institutions as a form of implementation of the quality assurance system to ensure that all Tridharma processes are in accordance with existing regulations, rules and standards. This is very important because it is the duty and responsibility to produce competent graduates in accordance with the expected graduate profile. Therefore, today we were accompanied by a Team of Assessors to ensure that all business processes and main tasks carried out were in accordance with regulations and met existing standards. He hopes that the Assessor Team can provide an assessment that is as objective as possible and provide as much input as possible which will become a reference in bringing the study program forward.

Meanwhile, the Rector of Unud, Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana in Various said that the study program is committed to continuing to improve the quality of education, research and community service in order to produce graduates who are competent, professional and ready to contribute to the world both at the national and international levels. They are also fully open to receiving input, evaluation and constructive suggestions from the Assessor Team.

"We believe that this assessment is not just an assessment process, but also a valuable moment for us to carry out reflection and continuous improvement in an effort to maintain the quality of nursing education at Udayana University," said the Rector of Unud.

The Rector hopes that the study program will always be able to contribute to producing health workers who are superior, have character and are able to face global challenges. It is also hoped that the implementation of this assessment will run smoothly and provide great benefits for the study program.

Assessor Representative Rina Nur Hidayati on this occasion explained the code of ethics for assessors in carrying out this field assessment. He also said that accreditation is a statutory mandate that must be implemented by all tertiary institutions, where the aim is to ensure that all Tridharma is implemented in accordance with the standards determined by tertiary institutions so that it is hoped that they can produce competent quality graduates. The purpose and objective of this field assessment is to follow up on documents that have been sent via the LAM-PTKes page and have been reviewed, and through this assessment, evaluation, clarification and validation of data from these documents are carried out.
