Udayana University Receives a Visit from Vice Rector III Khairun University

Jimbaran - Vice Rector for Student Affairs at Udayana University (Unud) Dr. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, S.P., M.Agr accompanied by the Head of the Student Affairs Bureau and unit leaders in the student affairs sector received a visit from the Vice Rector III of Khairun University and staff at the Bahasa Room of the Jimbaran Campus Rectorate Building, Friday (29/11/2024). This visit was in the context of a comparative study of student activities in an effort to encourage the improvement of HR management of student activities at Khairun University.

Vice Rector Dr. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya in his speech said that this visit was hoped to strengthen the ties between Khairun University and Udayana University. Furthermore, the Vice Rector introduced briefly the university profile and student affairs activities at Udayana University.

In the student affairs sector there are several activities such as fostering student achievement, providing scholarships, and also MBKM. The Vice Rector opened a space for discussion regarding how to manage student affairs at Udayana University.

Meanwhile, Vice Rector III Khairun University Abdul Kadir Kamaluddin, SP., M.Si expressed his gratitude for the reception from Udayana University, where this visit was intended to exchange ideas regarding student affairs management. This activity is routinely carried out every year to establish communication with universities in Indonesia considering that Khairun University is in the eastern region.

In terms of student affairs management, Khairun University has around 18 thousand students in 18 faculties. Student achievement at Khairun University in the last three years has increased, but in 2024 it will decline slightly, especially in terms of qualifying for the national level. In the student affairs sector, the party appointed expert staff to accommodate all activities in the student affairs sector where there is also a coaching team and a budget is provided. For students who get achievements, the university also gives appreciation as encouragement, including their accompanying lecturers or supervisors.

On this occasion, the management of student affairs at Udayana University was explained by the Head of the Student Affairs Bureau, Drs. I Ketut Kartika followed by discussion.
