Udayana University Signs Memorandum of Understanding with PT. Bali Turtle Island Development
Chancellor of Udayana University (Unud), Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana signed a memorandum of understanding between Udayana University and PT Bali Turtle Island Development (BTID) on Thursday, (7/11/2024) at the Udayana University Rectorate Building, Jimbaran.
This collaboration was previously initiated by PT BTID so it is hoped that Udayana University can provide support related to the development of the Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone (KEK) as stipulated based on Government Regulation No. 23 of 2023.
In his remarks, the Rector of Udayana University hopes that through the collaboration proposed by BTID, the cooperative relationship between the two parties can be strengthened, including the hope that Udayana University will be able to provide expert assistance in managing the Environmental Impact Analysis (AMDAL) in the KEK Kura Kura Bali area, as well as human assistance. experts in other fields if needed by BTID.
In line with this, the Main Director of PT BTID, Sri Indrastuti Sukroadi Hadiputranto, also said that in strengthening human resources and supporting the quality of development in Bali, especially the Bali Kura-Kura SEZ and its surroundings, there needs to be collaboration with various related parties, one of which is the University Udayana, especially in empowering competent human resources who have a deep understanding of engineering, economics, the environment as well as Balinese culture and traditions.
The President Director of PT BTID also said that furthermore, this collaboration includes aspects of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which not only strengthens the Bali Kura-Kura SEZ, but also becomes a real contribution in enriching knowledge and increasing the capacity of human resources in Bali and Indonesia in general.
Also present at this activity were the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information, Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, Mr. Ferry Siswojo Djongianto, Deputy Managing Director of PT BTID, as well as staff from Universitasita Udayana which included Representatives of the Dean of FKP, Representatives of PPLH LPPM, as well as Master and Master Study Program Coordinators.
