Institution of Research and Public Service of Udayana University Organized A Seminar of Bhakti Desa 2015

In line with the 53rd Anniversary of Udayana University, the Institution of Research and Public Service of Udayana University organized a public service activity namely the Seminar of Bhakti Desa 2015. It was attended by all Heads of villages Bali, and opened by the Deputy Governor of Bali, I Ketut Sudikerta.

The issuance of Act  Number 6 year 2014 about Village makes village become the subject so that it is no longer an object and target of development, but it is also used as a wide medium in implementing both the cross-sector and cross-ministry development. It was said by the Governor of Bali, Made Mangku Pastika in his speech read by the Deputy Governor of Bali, I Ketut Sudikerta when officially opened the Seminar of Bhakti Desa 2015 at The Patra Jasa Resort and Villas, Kuta, Badung, Bali (16/9).

Meanwhile, the chairperson of the Institution of Research and Public Service of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng. in his report stated that the Seminar of Bhakti Desa 2015 is an activity organized in order to celebrate the 53rd Anniversary of Udayana University. He expects that this seminar is able to provide understanding of management of the use of village funds, drafting mechanism of medium-term village development plan, understanding of village governmental work plan, and growing village resource empowerment potential.

This seminar was attended by 7 speakers, namely: 

1. Director General of Village Administration, Ministry of Village, Underdeveloped Regions, 

and Transmigration

2. Ministry of Home Affairs

3. House of Representatives of Commission XI

4. Head of BPMPD of Bali province

5. Prof. Dr. I Ketut Rai Setiabudhi, SH., MS (Academician of Udayana University)

6. Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suartana, M.Si. (Academician of Udayana University)

7. Dr. Drs. I Gusti Bagus Putu Suka Arjawa, M.Si. (Academician of Udayana University). (NE)
