Strengthening The Cooperation, The Ambassador of Finland Has Met The Vice Rector of Udayana
Finland and Indonesia in particular Udayana University agreed to strengthen cooperation and collaboration between the two institutions. This was revealed in a meeting between Vice Rector IV of Udayana, Prof I Made Suastra and the Ambassador of Finland, Paivi Hiltunen-Toivio, at Udayana University Campus Rector Building Bukit Jimbaran, Friday, September 11. The cooperation includes lecturer training, water resource management, and the development of renewable energy.
The meeting with Bali International Program for Asian Studies (BIPAS) also discussed about the condition of Finnish students staying in Bali and studying at Udayana University, which is known without any problems. Every year more than 12,000 Finnish students take a one-semester-oversea course program. This certainly results in an opportunity for Indonesia to increase the number of educated tourist segments. Finland is a small country with a population of 5 million and is the so-called the best free-corruption country in the world (nda-NE)
