The Importance of Financial Management for Entrepreneurs: PPK Ormawa BEM Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University Conducts Prasiwara Training Vol. 3 in Nyuhtebel Village

Denpasar, BEM Press Bureau, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University - Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program Team (PPK Ormawa) Student Executive Board (BEM) Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University (Unud) carried out Prasiwara Training (Prasa) Vol. 3, on Friday, August 16 2024 at the Nyuhtebel Village Perbekel Office, Manggis District, Karangasem Regency. This training activity is part of a form of community empowerment carried out by the Ormawa PPK Team which aims to improve skills and provide an understanding of the importance of financial management for entrepreneurs. This activity was attended by the people of Nyuhtebel Village who work as prasi craftsmen.

The initial series of activities was a presentation on the importance of financial management for entrepreneurs, delivered by the implementing team, Kadek Kamalatmika Nammi. Financial recording is the activity of recording all the flow of money in and out of business and personal which is important for controlling and managing finances, as well as making decisions. Seeing the importance of this activity, the PPK Ormawa BEM Implementation Team, Faculty of Economics and Business, Unud designed financial training for prasi craftsmen in Nyuhtebel Village.

After being given a brief explanation regarding financial recording and management, next was training for the public to make simple financial reports as a form of initial introduction. In this activity, people are given the freedom to record their income and expenses in the last week. The report that has been made is then presented by the community.

Through this activity, it is hoped that the public will realize the importance of financial recording for the continuity of their business. "I hope that this training can be a starting point for the young generation of Nyuhtebel Village to build awareness of the importance of managing finances and can become a provision for the future," said Kadek Kamalatmika Nammi as Speaker and Implementing Team of the PPK Ormawa BEM Faculty of Economics and Business, Unud.

The activities currently taking place are a series that is expected to improve people's skills in entrepreneurship. "Of course this program is not our last program, but there are many more things that we will do in Nyuhtebel Village in order to realize Nyuhtebel Village as an Entrepreneurial Village, so I hope that this is a good start for all of us in trying to develop and support Nyuhtebel Village so that "It can be better in the future," said Ni Ketut Suryawardhani Kusumastuti as Chair of the PPK Ormawa BEM Implementation Team, Faculty of Economics and Business, Unud.
