Udayana University Opens a Stand at the Bali Development Festival, Exhibiting Innovative Products from Lecturers and Students

Denpasar - Udayana University (Unud) participated in the Bali Development Festival activities held by the Bali Provincial Government at the Denpasar Art Center Cultural Park, 14 to 20 August 2024. This activity is also a series of commemorations of the 66th Anniversary of the Province of Bali and Bali Province. The 79th Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

In this activity, Unud opened an Exhibition Stand located to the south of the Ksirarnawa Building by showcasing innovative products produced by the academic community, namely Udayana University Lecturers and Students.

The innovation products on display are WARIGABALI (I Gede Santi Astawa, ST., M.Cs - Lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Unud) which is a website-based digital product specifically related to astrological calculations known as WARIGA; Ginseng Coffee (Prof. Dr. Ni Luh Suriani, S.Si., M.Si - Lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences) is Balinese Coffee and Local Javanese Ginseng to increase stamina; Lifera Burnt Candlenut Oil (Dr. dr. Agung Wiwiek Indrayani, S.Ked., M.Kes - Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Unud) is made from burning candlenuts and processed into oil; Arak Kopi and Nutmeg (Cokorda Anom Bayu Sadyasmara, S.TP., M.Sc - Lecturer at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Unud) is a typical Balinese alcoholic beverage product as a creative product to support tourism; Algaemy Sunscreen (Prof. Ir. I Gede Putu Wirawan, M.Sc., Ph.D - Lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture, Unud) is a sunscreen spray made from seaweed which has been tested to have SPF 50; TAMIANG (Cokorda Rai Adi Pramartha, ST.,MM.,Ph.D, Ida Bagus Ary Indra Iswara, S.Kom.,M.Kom and I Putu Gede Hendra Suputra, S.Kom.,M.Kom - Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Unud ) is a computer keyboard with a Balinese script interface.

Apart from that, there are also Unud Student Products and Innovations, namely Brikel (Brikel Team) which is a business that focuses on producing biobriquettes made from coconut shells; NUTRESIAN (Nutresian Team) is an innovative mobile application designed to help users manage nutritional needs and a healthy lifestyle; BIO-SUMI (Bio-Sumi Team) is a livestock mineral supplement from biodrying-based seafood shell waste and tofu dregs; SEHATIN CANDY (Team Sehatin Candy) is candy made from natural ingredients that are rich in nutrients; and TETUEK (Tetuek Team) by utilizing the potential of a local commodity in the form of pure sugar palm juice produced by the community and innovated it into a probiotic drink.

For lucky visitors, interesting souvenirs are also provided at the Udayana University Stand. In the Bali Development Festival activities there are also various exhibition stands from universities, government, BUMN, BUMD, TNI, Polri, and the private sector as well as culinary. In the afternoon there are also various performances including art performances, bands, talk shows and others. For those who like online games, there are also E-Sport activities.
