Udayana University PTN BH Acceleration Unit Holds Workshop on Preparing Draft Rector's Regulations

Udayana University (Unud) PTN BH Acceleration Unit held a Workshop on Drafting Rector's Regulations on 8-9 August 2024, at the Truntum Hotel Kuta, Badung. This workshop presented two speakers, namely the BANPT Executive Board: Prof. Dr. Ir. Tjokorde Valmiki Samadhi, S.T, M.T and Director of PT ITS Tekno Sains, Dr. Ir. I Ketut Gunarta, M.T. Also present were the Head of the Unud PTNBH Unit and workshop participants consisting of workshop participants: LLDIKTI, Alumni, HIPMI, Brida, LPPM, HKI Center, BPU, Business Inkobator, as well as Udayana University inventors.

Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Dr. I Wayan Gayun Widharma in his report said that this was the 3rd and 4th Chancellor's Regulation Draft (Ranpertor) workshop where previously on 1-3 August 2024 2 Ranpertors had been completed, namely the Appointment of Organs Under the Rector and HR Management. The responsibilities discussed in this workshop were the Draft Rector Regulations on Innovation and Commercialization of Innovation and the Draft Rector's Regulations on Opening, Changing, Merging and Closing Study Programs.

In the Ranpertor on Innovation and Commercialization of Innovation, resource person from ITS, Director of PT ITS Tekno Sains, Dr. Ir. I Ketut Gunarta, M.T, is expected to be able to provide information and experience regarding the management of innovation and commercialization managed in the Science and Technology Area. Ranpertor participants consisting of Brida, LPPM, HKI Center, BPU, Business Institute and Udayana University inventors were able to provide views regarding the management of innovation and its commercialization, so that after PTN BH, the innovation results from inventors can become income generating for Unud which is required to increase income from Non UKT.

Meanwhile, in the Opening and Closing Report of the Study Program (mandatory PP mandate), speakers from BAN PT are expected to provide views and information regarding the role of BAN PT if Unud is PTN BH. In the Opening and Closing Report of the Study Program, the workshop participants consisting of LLDIKTI, Alumni and HIPMI were able to provide views on the study programs currently needed by the market.

Head of the PTN BH Unud Unit, Prof. Semadi Antara, who represented the leadership of Unud, in his speech hoped that the participants who took part in the workshop this time could make the best use of the discussion of these two Ranpertors, so that at the end of the workshop they could produce Ranpertors in accordance with the aims of the workshop, which could be used when Udayana University was designated as a PTN BH.
