Udayana University is one of the 2024 BLU PPK Monitoring and Evaluation Objects
Denpasar - Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information Unud Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika attended the Public Service Agency Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activities carried out by the PPK BLU Directorate of the Ministry of Finance. This Monev was also coupled with the implementation of a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) related to the Urgency of Determining BLU Collective Tariffs. In the context of this Monev, it was carried out in order to maintain and improve BLU performance, ensure compliance with good governance standards, and guarantee compliance with applicable regulations. Also present at the opening ceremony were the Head of the Bali DJPb Regional Office and the Head of the Bali DJKN Regional Office.
There are three focus themes for monev in 2024, namely cash management, implementation of service rates and asset optimization. Through the collective implementation of monitoring and evaluation, it is hoped that it can become a means of sharing knowledge between BLU, Technical Supervisors and Financial Advisors as well as achieving efficiency in BLU development. The monitoring and evaluation implementation began with the symbolic signing of an Integrity Pact by the BLU Leadership and the Head of the BLU PPK Sub-Directorate.
The Head of Sub-Directorate for PPK BLU 1 in his report conveyed the background of monev, implementation of monev, results of monev in 2023 and highlights of BLU's performance in Bali Province. As it is understood, BLU was formed to provide services to the community without prioritizing profits and with the principles of efficiency and productivity. To achieve this goal, BLU is given flexibility as regulated in Law Number 1 of 2004 and its derivatives PP 23 of 2005 and Minister of Finance Regulation Number 129 of 2020.
To oversee BLU there are technical advisors and financial advisors. For financial development, there are four aspects, namely BLU cash management, BLU asset management, tariff implementation, financial and service performance as well as obstacles faced by BLU. In Bali Province there are 8 BLUs, and the objects of monitoring and evaluation are 6 BLUs consisting of two groups, namely the education group and the health group.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Bali DJPb Regional Office, Muhamad Mufti Arkan, in his speech said that the key word for implementing this activity was improving services in the community. How can we provide the best possible service to the community (outstanding service, excellent service). Then it is related to monitoring and evaluation on how to manage cash as well as possible. Through the implementation of monitoring and evaluation and FGD, it is hoped that knowledge and experience can be shared between BLUs.
