Udayana University BEM Hands Over the Communal KI Certificate to the Acting Regent of Buleleng
Singaraja – Thursday (11/07/2024), the Student Executive Board (BEM) of Udayana University (Unud) has succeeded through the Department of Culture in carrying out an inventory and handing over Communal KI Certificates to the custodian community in Buleleng Regency. Meanwhile, a total of 3 certificates were handed over through the Acting Regent of Buleleng, I Ketut Lihadnyana to each custodian located in the Meeting Room of the Office of the Regent of Buleleng Regency. The list of communal intellectual property submitted is:
Sakhanti Dance from Munduk Village, Banjar District
Megangsing Dance from Munduk Village, Banjar District
Gumbyung Musical Instrument from Munduk Village, Banjar District
Chairman of BEM UNUD for 2023, I Putu Bagus Padmanegara, conveyed that the inventory and recording of communal intellectual property for each region in Buleleng Regency is a form of concern from BEM Udayana University towards existing culture.
Through this handover, it is hoped that it can have a positive impact on each region regarding the preservation of their culture or traditions, not limited to recording, in the future BEM Udayana University will continue to be committed to disseminating this culture, so that later the impact can be continued on the economic cycle and support tourism in North Bali.
Welcoming him warmly, Ketut Lihadnyana expressed his gratitude and appreciation to BEM Udayana University. "As the Regional Head of Buleleng Regency and representing the people of Klungkung, I would like to thank the Student Executive Board, especially the Department of Culture, for synergizing and helping us in preserving the culture in Buleleng Regency. Of course we really appreciate what has been programmed by BEM Udayana University and this is something extraordinary, because it is a form of implementation of the tri dharma, research and direct service to the community. "Of course I am also proud of my brothers and sisters because I am also an alumni of Udayana University," said Ketut Lihadnyana in his speech.
Head of the Culture Department of BEM Udayana, I Gusti Ngurah Made Prabhaswara added, regarding the journey from start to finish in successfully recording the communal intellectual property of these cultures at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, of course there were obstacles which were successfully overcome thanks to the cooperation and assistance of the apparatus. related villages, especially the Custodian, Sanggar and Munduk Village Apparatus communities.
By recording these cultures, the BEM of Udayana University as the next generation of culture is taking concrete steps to help maintain and preserve existing cultures and feel proud of the diversity of cultures that exist in each region. Previously, BEM Udayana had handed over 19 certificates to Jembrana, Klungkung and Tabanan Regencies.
