Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University Celebrates the 40th Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Family Body

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA) Udayana University (Unud) celebrated the 40th Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (BKFMIPA) Family Council at the Widyasabha Auditorium, Jimbaran Campus, Monday (02/07/2024). This activity was combined with the 2024 MIPA Faculty Scienefest activity which was marked by the cutting of tumpeng by the Dean of the MIPA Faculty of Udayana University and continued with entertainment events.

Chairman of the Scienefest Committee, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Gevy Pande Sri Wulantari, in his report said that the BKFMIPA and Scienefest activities contained positive activities, by presenting inspirational figures through scientific orations. Apart from that, it also presents performers from both the MIPA Faculty and outside the MIPA Faculty.

Chairman of the BKFMIPA Committee I Wayan Martadi Santika, S.Farm., M.Si., Apt. in his report stated that the BKFMIPA theme raised this time was Strengthening Togetherness to Build a Glorious and Superior FMIPA. This theme of togetherness is realized in this year's BKFMIPA activities which are held simultaneously with Scienefest activities. Activities are filled with positive activities, such as scientific orations, blood donations, leisure walks and gymnastics which also aim to strengthen relations between the academic community of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.

Chairman of the BEM, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Ananda Putra, in his speech wished the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, a happy 40th birthday. There is great hope that the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences can produce superior generations who can make the name of the faculty and university proud on the national and international stage.

Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Prof. Ni Luh Watiniasih in her speech said that the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences was founded in 1984 where a Decree was issued on June 1 in the form of a study program. Of the 10 study programs currently owned, of course there are many things that need to be implemented, even though there is still a long way to fulfill the performance that must be done, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences continues to strive to be enthusiastic, together with the entire academic community of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, to carry out activities referring to the Main Performance Indicators assigned by the Rector.

Meanwhile, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana in his speech wished the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Udayana University the 40th anniversary, hopefully the future will be even more successful, continue to achieve, and be recognized both at the national and international levels. The Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty has grown and developed very well, and in the future the leadership will continue to support and facilitate progress in realizing the vision and mission through the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which is superior in terms of education, research and community service.

"Hopefully the MIPA Faculty will achieve more in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0, let us rise together in synergy, collaborate in improving ourselves so that the MIPA Faculty becomes increasingly superior, independent, cultured, tough and victorious, and of course in the end Udayana University becomes a superior university , independent and cultured," said the Vice Rector.
