Udayana University Closes the Batch 4 Independent Inbound Student Exchange with an Art Performance

Udayana University (Unud) carried out the Closing and Dismissal of the Batch 4 Inbound Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) which was filled with artistic performances from all program participants, Saturday (22/6/2024) at the Widya Sabha Auditorium. This release was marked by the removal of the Udayana University alma mater jacket and the wearing of the alma mater jacket from the participant's home university.

Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana appreciated 91 students from 63 universities throughout Indonesia for successfully completing the Batch 4 Inbound Student Exchange Program at Udayana University. He also appreciated the students who had chosen Udayana University as the destination university for implementing the MBKM program for one semester.

After taking the Student Exchange Program at Udayana University, he hopes that students can develop a sense of love for their homeland and culture and tell their colleagues at their home university about the natural beauty and culture of Bali. The Vice Rector targets that in the Student Exchange Program in the coming period there will be an increase in the participant quota, so that more students from various regions can carry out the MBKM program at Udayana University.

PIC of Udayana University's Inbound Student Exchange Program Ni Luh Made Indah Murdyani Dewi explained that students take 20 credits in one semester, of which 4 credits are taken by taking the Nusantara Module and 16 credits by attending class lectures. The Nusantara module consists of 4 activities, namely the Diversity activity by getting to know the history and culture of Bali, the Reflection activity which is filled with getting to know each other's culture and regions, the Inspiration activity by holding mental health seminars for students, and the Social Contribution activity which is filled with tree planting. and distribution of fish seeds in Pancasari Village.

Meanwhile, during class lectures, students can take courses according to their study program or courses outside the study program. After completing the entire series of Student Exchange Programs at Udayana University, students will return to their respective regions in early July.

Head of the Batch 4 Inbound Student Exchange Program, Aldhimas Bagus Zevriawan, admitted that he was happy to get to know various cultures. According to him, one of the interesting lessons during this program was the Tri Hita Karana concept which explains the importance of maintaining a balanced relationship between God, the environment and fellow humans. This student from Diponegoro University hopes that all participants can continue to maintain good relations, even though they are in different areas.
