PUI-PT CPHI Udayana University Successfully Holds Seminar on Improving the Quality of Health Services
Denpasar, 14 June 2024 – The Center for Excellence in Higher Education Science and Technology (PUI-PT) Center for Public Health Innovation, Udayana University (Unud) successfully held a seminar entitled "Improving the Quality of Health Service Facilities Through Community Satisfaction Surveys". This event was held in a hybrid manner, with offline sessions at Four Star Renon and online sessions via Zoom and broadcast live on the CPHI Faculty of Medicine Udayana University YouTube Channel.
This seminar discusses two main topics, namely Quality Assurance of Health Facilities and the Role of Community Satisfaction Surveys by dr. I Putu Reka Wibawa who is the Chair of the Health Assurance and Quality of Health Services Working Team for the Bali Provincial Health Service, as well as the Implementation of Community Satisfaction Surveys by Apt. Brigitta Wardhani, MPH, researcher from CPHI Udayana University. This event aims to increase understanding of the importance of ensuring the quality of health services in health facilities and how community satisfaction surveys can play a role in improving the quality of services and accreditation of health facilities.
This event was attended by various stakeholders from the health sector and participants from Community Health Centers and Hospitals in Bali Province. This event is also open to the general public who have an interest in improving the quality of health services.
This activity was opened by Prof. Dr. Pande Putu Januraga, M.Kes., DrPH, Chair of PUI-PT CPHI Udayana University, who gave a speech and opened the event. The seminar continued with presentation of material from the speakers and was closed by the Secretary of PUI-PT CPHI Udayana University, Ngakan Putu Anom Harjana, S.KM., MA. which provides a glimpse of the introduction of CPHI as a research institution which has now become PUI-PT Udayana University.
The implementation of this seminar was driven by awareness of the importance of improving the quality of health services in health facilities as the spearhead of health services to the community. Through community satisfaction surveys, efforts to improve service quality can be carried out in a more structured, comprehensive and sustainable manner. High service quality is expected to increase public satisfaction.
This event was successful and received a good response and enthusiasm from the participants.
