Udayana University Collaborates with Lion Air Group, Supports Student Internship Program

Udayana University (Unud) has collaborated with the Lion Air Group, which was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which took place in Building D of the Lion Group Balaraja Office Complex, Tangerang, Wednesday (20/3/2024). Present representing the Rector of Unud at this event was the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information, Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika. Apart from Unud, Lion Air Group also collaborates with several other educational institutions, where around 16 institutions signed an MoU on this occasion. The focus of the collaboration includes providing employment opportunities and training as entrepreneurs.

Before signing the MoU, those present also had the opportunity to visit Lion Catering and the Lion Group Training Center to get to know more about the Lion Group, especially in terms of providing airline food and drinks as well as training and developing human resources there.

The signing of the MoU between Lion Air Group and Unud was carried out by the President Director of Lion Air Group Daniel Putut Kuncoro Adi with the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information at Unud Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika and witnessed by Lion Air Group Founder Rusdi Kirana. The collaboration that will be carried out is in the field of the Tridharma of Higher Education, one of which is an internship for Udayana University students at the Lion Air Group.

Lion Air Group founder Rusdi Kirana explained that the output of the MoU was not only to provide employment opportunities for campus graduates, but also to make them entrepreneurs in the future. According to the founder of the Lion Air Group, preparing human resources to become entrepreneurs has a greater effect than currently preparing employment opportunities. Because the birth of entrepreneurs will also create more job opportunities.
