Udayana University International Affairs Office Holds UK Education Expo & Academic Networking 2024

Udayana University (Unud), through the International Affairs Office, held the UK Education Expo & Academic Networking 2024 which took place in the Nusantara Room, Agrokomplek Building, Thursday (1/2/2024). Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Ngakan Putu Gde Suardana attended this activity accompanied by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information, Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika.

In carrying out this activity, a bilateral meeting was also held between Udayana University and the British Embassy for Indonesia which was attended by Mr. Matthew Downing. This bilateral meeting was also attended by the Rector, Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information as well as the Coordinator of the International Affairs Office of Udayana University.

In opening the UK Expo & Academic Networking, the Rector of Udayana University said that the implementation of the UK Education Expo & Academic Networking 2024 was a very important historical milestone in Udayana University's journey towards internationalization. Through this activity, the Rector hopes that all those present at this Expo will gain a useful and unforgettable experience and will be able to explore trends in education, make new friends with people who have the same goals and enjoy every valuable and interesting moment at this Expo.

At this Expo there were exhibition booths from 26 representatives of universities in the UK, LPDP, UK Visa and Immigration, as well as the Indonesia – UK Education Center (IBEC); and there are four seminar sessions with various topics, namely (1) How to make a good personal statement, (2) UK Visa Information, (3) Scholarship Session by LPDP and (4) Preparing a PhD Research Proposal.

Participants who attended this Expo included students from various universities and colleges in Bali such as Ganesha Education University, Warmadewa University, National Education University, Bali State Polytechnic, as well as high school (SMA) students in Denpasar, both public, private and international school.
