Udayana University Becomes the Host of the iiWAS 2023 International Conference and MoMM 2023
Udayana University (Unud) was asked to host the 25th International Conference on Information Integration and Web Intelligence (iiWAS 2023) and the 21st International Conference on Advances in Mobile Computing & Multimedia Intelligence (MoMM 2023). This activity, which is supported by the Web Applications Society (@WAS), took place in the Postgraduate Building Hall, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, from 4 to 6 December 2023. The event, which was opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs on behalf of the Rector of Udayana University, presented two Keynote Speakers, namely Maureen Tanner, University of Cape Town, South Africa with the topic The Domestication of ChatGPT by University Students and René Mayrhofer, Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria with the topic The Android Platform Security Model (and the security status of actual devices).
iiWAS 2023 has the theme "From Data to Wisdom: Collecting, Processing, Analyzing and Storing Data/Information to Support Human Intelligence". iiWAS is the leading international conference for researchers, practitioners and industry experts in the fields of information integration and web intelligence. The conference is a forum for presenting and discussing the latest advances, trends, challenges and opportunities related to these fields.
Steering Committee Gabriele Kotsis, Johannes Kepler University Linz from Austria said that this activity was attended by participants from 28 countries and representatives from more than 75 researchers and academics from various institutions. iiWAS and MoMM are now two international conferences at the forefront of innovation in web-based applications and mobile multimedia. The conference provides a forum for researchers and practitioners from around the world to share their latest findings and insights into the latest trends and technologies in the field. He also expressed his deepest gratitude to the organizing committee at Udayana University for organizing this extraordinary conference.
Meanwhile the Vice Rector Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, in opening this event, said that this was a good opportunity for researchers, academics and industry professionals to gather and share their knowledge and expertise.
