Rektor of Udayana University Releases 6 Student Teams to Compete in the 36th PIMNAS

The Udayana University (Unud) Student Affairs Bureau held the release of 6 (six) student teams who will compete in the 36th PIMNAS at the Bangsa Room, Jimbaran Campus Rectorate Building, Friday (24/11/2023). These six teams were officially released by the Chancellor of Udayana University.

Apart from the six teams that will compete in the 36th PIMNAS, there were also student teams who had competed in other events such as POMNas, KMI Expo, and MTQMN who managed to win medals and make Udayana University proud.

Head of the Center for Creativity and Student Achievement at Unud Dr. I Wayan Santiyasa on this occasion said that in this release event there were 4 (four) groups of students who had and would fight in the competition to make Udayana University proud. The first group is a team of students who have competed in the KMI Expo, then the second group is the POMNas team, and the third group is the MTQMN team. The final group is 6 student teams who will compete in the 36th PIMNAS which will be held at Padjadjaran University on 26 November-1 December 2023.

"It is hoped that the struggle and enthusiasm of the students who represent Udayana University in the 36th PIMNAS can follow in the footsteps of their colleagues who have made Udayana University proud," said Dr. I Wayan Santiyasa.

Meanwhile, the Rector of Unud Prof. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana congratulated the teams who had won medals at POMNAS, KMI Expo, and MTQMN, and good luck to those who would compete in PIMNAS. The Chancellor advised students and supervisors not to be complacent about current achievements, but to continue to improve students' abilities and participation in competition.

"Maintain it and continue to improve, don't be satisfied there, but try to ensure that we can always make Udayana University proud," said Prof. Ngakan.

The Rector further said that the teams that will compete in PIMNAS must prepare themselves thoroughly and well, generate enthusiasm and self-confidence. Apart from that, the Rector also advised us to always take care of our health and food so we can compete well and optimally in PIMNAS later.
