Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University Implements the 58th Faculty of Engineering Family Body, Boundless Of Kinship In Industrial Society

The Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University (FT Unud) held the 58th Faculty of Engineering Family Body (BK FT) with the theme Boundless Of Kinship In Industrial Society. The implementation of the 58th BK FT began with a relaxing walk with the Rector of Udayana University along with the Vice Rectors and the FT Unud academic community. The event continued with friendly activities celebrating BK FT's anniversary in front of the ARL Building, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Bukit Jimbaran, Saturday (7/10/2023).

Chairman of the 58th BK FT committee, Gusti Made Arya Sasmita, S.T., M.T., in his speech said that the 58th BK FT had the theme "Boundless Of Kinship In Industrial Society" which means that in a togetherness that is so strong and without boundaries we can certainly achieve achievements in the 5.0 era.

The series of BK FT activities that have been carried out are community service activities including cleaning the beach, planting mangroves, cleaning the campus, as well as mask dance and megambel pair competitions in Gianyar Regency.

Apart from that, within the framework of BKFT, seminars were also held which involved alumni and were fully supported by academic faculties and of course in this event competitions were held which involved many students.

Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Ir. Linawati, M.Eng.,Sc.,Ph.D., in her report regarding the development of the Faculty of Engineering said that the Faculty of Engineering currently has the highest number of international accreditations at Udayana University.

Prof. Lina also added that the Faculty of Engineering has a new professional program, namely the Architectural Profession. In terms of infrastructure, the Faculty of Engineering is currently in the process of repairing the Undagi Building which has a capacity of 1000 people. The plans for the future are to encourage accreditation of study programs to become internationally certified and to create new study programs.

Meanwhile, the Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng., IPU, in his speech wished the Faculty of Engineering the 58th anniversary. Apart from that, the Rector also expressed his thanks to the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and all his staff for the enormous contribution of the Faculty of Engineering in all areas. To make the Faculty of Engineering more advanced and modern, many things need to be done, namely institutional modernization with internationalization through international accreditation, infrastructure, human resources and mentality.
