Rector of Udayana University Appoints Four Faculty Deans and Postgraduate Directors

Denpasar - Located in the Nusantara Room, Agrokompleks Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, an Inauguration and Handover Ceremony for Officials at Udayana University (Unud), Monday (2/10/2023). A total of four Faculty Deans along with Vice Deans and Postgraduate Directors along with Vice Director I were appointed by the Rector of Unud. The inauguration event began with a jasaya-jaya ceremony at the Widya Maha Amrta Temple, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar.

This inauguration and handover of positions was attended by the Rector and Vice Rectors, Chair of the Senate, Chair of SPI, Chair of Institutions, Head of Bureau, Head of Faculty and Postgraduate Studies, Head of UPT, Chair of USDI, Spokesperson for the Rector, Dharma Wanita Persatuan of Unud and other invitees.

The officials appointed were I Nyoman Aryawibawa, SS., MA., Ph.D as Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences with Vice Dean I Dr. I Gede Oeinada, SS., M.Hum, Vice Dean II Prof. Dr. Dra. Ni Ketut Ratna Erawati, M.Hum and Vice Dean III Dr. Ni Ketut Praise Astiti Laksmi, SS., M.Sc. The Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences is again held by Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D with Vice Dean I Dr. Ngurah Agus Sanjaya ER, S.Kom., M.Kom, Vice Dean II Dr. Drs. I Made Sukadana, M.Si, and Vice Dean III Prof. Ni Nyoman Rupiasih, S.Sc., M.Si., Ph.D. The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture is Dr. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, SP., M.Agr with Vice Dean I, I Putu Sudiarta, SP., M.Sc., Ph.D, Vice Dean II Dr. Widhiantini, SP., M.Si and Vice Dean III Dr. I Made Sukewijaya, SP., M.Sc. The Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry is Dr. Ir. Dewi Ayu Warmadewi, S.Pt., M.Sc., IPM, ASEAN.Eng with Vice Dean I Dr. Ir. Gede Suarta, M.Si, Vice Dean II Dr. Ir. Budi Rahayu Tanama Putri, S.Pt., MM., IPU, ASEAN.Eng and Vice Dean III Dr. I Nyoman Sumerta Miwada, S.Pt., MP. Then the Postgraduate Director was held by Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Budiasa, SP., MP, ASEAN.Eng and Vice Director I Prof. Dr. Eng. Ni Nyoman Pujianiki, ST., MT., M.Eng.

Rector of Unud Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng., IPU in his speech expressed his thanks to previous officials who had worked hard to advance their respective units and Udayana University. Apart from that, the Rector also congratulated the new officials who had been given the trust to continue what had been initiated and carried out very well by the previous officials. "Carry out your duties and responsibilities with full discipline and responsibility," said the Rector of Unud.

In connection with this inauguration, the Rector conveyed several things to the new officials, in which there were several hopes that the achievements that would be made in the future would be even better. The Rector asked the new officials to carry out their duties as unit leaders with discipline and responsibility. With discipline and responsibility, it is believed that the unit led will bring about changes such as progress in line with shared expectations.

By implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education which is carried out with full responsibility and discipline, the output will certainly be enormous. Implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education very well will also have an impact on other achievements, especially in the areas of improving institutional status, internationalization, and achieving key performance indicators according to performance contracts. These achievements will ultimately have a very good impact on the status of the institution being led.
