Increasing Understanding of Cooperatives for Young People, Udayana University Student Cooperative UKM Holds Cooperative Basic Education Activities 2023

Denpasar, Cooperative Basic Education Implementation Committee 2023 - Udayana University (Unud) Student Cooperative UKM carried out Cooperative Basic Education Activities (Diksarkop) on Sunday, September 24 2023 which took place in the Nusantara Hall, Agrokomplek Building, Fl. IV Udayana University, Sudirman Campus. This activity was attended by the Head of the Denpasar City Cooperative and UMKM Service and staff, Udayana University Student Cooperative UKM Trustees, 2023 Cooperative Generation Ambassadors, Udayana University Student Government Student Representative Council, Udayana University Student Government Student Executive Board and 2023 Cooperative Basic Education Participants.

Cooperative Basic Education is one of the work programs in the field of Member Resource Development (PSDA), where this year's activities carry the theme "Step Into the Light to Build the Spirit of an Oustanding Entrepreneur" aimed at increasing understanding and basic knowledge of cooperatives, training members' abilities in managing cooperatives at the student level, as well as fostering a competitive spirit of competitiveness and achievement.

With this activity, it is hoped that you will understand in general about Cooperatives, both at the university and general level, increase your insight into strategies for building a creative and innovative business, understand the preparation of Activity Proposals and Budget Plans (RAB), and participate in the activities that will be held. held both Udayana University Student Cooperative UKM activities and activities that have been designed in such a way by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology which linearly contribute to making Udayana University proud.

This year's Diksarkop presented several speakers who are experts in their fields, namely Dr. I Dewa Made Agung, S.E., M.Si as Head of the Denpasar City Cooperative and UMKM Service presented material on Basic Cooperative Education. This activity was also attended by the 2023 Cooperative Generation Ambassador (GenSi) as an introduction to the activities of the younger generation of cooperatives and to build a new spirit of the cooperative movement at the University Udayana. Then continued with the presentation of material by Putu Metta Puspita Dewi as the owner of Orlenalycious with material on Digital Economic Business Development. This activity also invited the Secretary and Coordinator of Finance for the Udayana University Student Cooperative UKM who presented material on Preparing Activity Proposals and Draft Budgets (RAB). This activity is an important start for members of the Udayana University Student Cooperative UKM to explore their interests and talents in the field of cooperatives.

Anak Agung Istri Sri Wiadnyani S.TP., M.Sc as the Supervisor of the Udayana University Student Cooperative UKM feels proud and challenged by the enthusiasm of the new members of the Udayana University Student Cooperative UKM this year, the number of which is increasing rapidly. He also hopes that the Udayana University Student Cooperative UKM can become a forum for new members to improve their achievements.
