Winning 1st Place, Udayana University Faculty of Agricultural Technology Students Have the Opportunity to Participate in Research Internship in Thailand
Two students from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University won achievements at the 2023 Student Project Competition with the theme Mitigation and Adaptation for Climate Change in Agriculture using IoT which was organized by REEC (Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation) Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University in collaboration with University of Jember.
The students were Zulfa Hana Maulida and Luh Made Putri Apriliani who were guided by Ni Nyoman Sulastri, S.TP., M.Agr., Ph.D and I Putu Budisanjaya, S.TP., MT won 1st place in the event. The project they are bringing is "HydroLogic: A Web-Based Irrigation Water Balance Tool For Climate Change Adaptation" which presents new hope in overcoming the challenges of climate change in the agricultural sector.
Apart from winning 1st place, they also had the opportunity to take part in a Research Internship at the REEC (Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation) Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, Thailand in important topics such as Pesticide Detection, Water Quality Assessment, and the application of IoT for Greenhouses.
This reward is fully funded by the organizers, as a form of appreciation for the hard work and great opportunities that can be done to continue to contribute to the environment and sustainable agriculture. This Research Internship will be held from 20 July to 2 September 2023.
The two students also thanked their supervisors, namely Ni Nyoman Sulastri, S.TP., M. Agr., Ph.D and I Putu Budisanjaya, S.TP., MT who had provided invaluable guidance for students so they could achieve this glorious feat.
