Udayana University Again Signs MoU with Singaperbangsa University of Karawang

Denpasar - Udayana University (Unud) extended the partnership with Singaperbangsa Karawang University (Unsika) which was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two parties at the KUI Meeting Room Agrocomplex Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Tuesday (25/7/2023). On this occasion the Rector of Udayana University was represented by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information and from Unsika attended by the Vice Rector for Cooperation, Student Affairs and Alumni and their staff.

The activity, which was coupled with comparative studies in the fields of cooperation, student affairs, public relations, as well as an integrated information and service center, was also attended by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, the Head of BKM and staff, as well as the Cooperation and Public Relations Coordinator and staff.

Vice Rector for Cooperation, Student Affairs and Alumni Unsika Dr. H. Amirudin said Unud was one of the objectives of the comparative study visit because there were things to be explored. Unsika is still looking for identity and opportunities to adapt like other universities. He was grateful for the acceptance and also hoped for a return visit from Unud. Then the purpose of another visit is to renew the MoU, this is to support PKS at the faculty level. Unsika itself only has 9 faculties and 35 study programs with a total of 18 thousand students.

"Hopefully with the signed MoU it can be implemented by faculties and others, either through PKS or other matters," he said.

Unud has good international cooperation and it is interested in learning or gaining knowledge related to international cooperation. The Vice Rector hopes that through discussion it is hoped that this will be obtained. Besides that, it is also related to student affairs, alumni and public relations.

While the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information of Unud, Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika on this occasion said that this was a follow-up collaboration that had been carried out so far between the two universities. The gatherings are more for benchmarking activities related to student affairs.

"The spirit of the MoU is indeed the spirit of MBKM, so it is hoped that the collaboration between the two universities will focus more on activities for MBKM from various faculties in Udayana and Singaperbangsa," said Prof. Adiatmika.
