Udayana University Holds Socialization on Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (PPKS) for Students
Denpasar - Udayana University (Unud) through the Task Force for Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (Satgas PPKS) held "Socialization on the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in the Udayana University Environment for Student Organizations" located in the Hall of the Postgraduate Building Unud Campus Sudirman Denpasar, Friday (14/7 /2023).
This activity was attended by the Head of Student Affairs Bureau, Counseling Service Unit Team, BEM of Udayana University, DPM of Udayana University, University-level UKM, BEM and DPM in 13 Faculties, as well as invited students.
The purpose of this activity is to implement the Permendikbud No. 30 of 2021 in preventing sexual violence in tertiary institutions by conducting education in the form of outreach.
While the socialization aims to educate students regarding the mechanism for preventing and handling sexual violence at Udayana University and opening the recruitment of volunteer PPKS friends from student elements to form a PPKS network in the faculty.
Head of Student Affairs Bureau Unud Drs. I Ketut Kartika in his remarks representing the Vice Rector for Student Affairs requested that stage 2 of socialization be carried out, namely to educators and lecturers. In addition, his party also said that Unud was committed to preventing and overcoming sexual violence by supporting the activities of the PPKS Unud Task Force. The Head of Student Affairs Bureau also requested that in the future the task force would invite outside sources who were also engaged in PPKS.
