In-House Training "Logistic Management", Collaboration between Udayana University and Timor Lorosa'e National University (UNTL)

Udayana University (Unud) through the Udayana Training & Consulting Business Management Agency (BPU) held training activities or in-house training on "Logistic Management" as a follow-up to the collaboration between Unud and Universidade Nacional Timor Lorosa'e (UNTL) located in the Faculty's MM Building Sudirman Denpasar Campus Economics and Business, Monday (3/7/2023). This activity was opened by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information of Udayana University accompanied by Vice Rector III UNTL.

This activity lasted for 5 days, namely 3 July 2023 to 7 July 2023 which was attended by 11 participants from UNTL. The focus of training activities is on logistics management which includes Asset Procurement Management, Asset Control Management, Inventory, Asset Auction and Asset Management and Inventory Practices.

This training was carried out by presenting several speakers who have skills in the field of logistics management, namely Prof. Dr. Ni Luh Putu Wiagustini, S.E., M.Si, Dr. Sayu Ketut Sutrisna Dewi, S.E., M.M., Ak, Dr. Ir. Lie Jasa, M.T, Dr. Ni Nyoman Adi Erawati, S.E., M.Si, Ak, I Dewa Made Ary Swanjaya, SST.Par., MH and the Denpasar State Assets and Auction Service Office (KPKNL). The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of participants from UNTL in the field of logistics management.

Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information Unud Prof. Dr. dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, M.Kes explained that this training was a follow-up to the collaboration between Unud and UNTL which had been agreed some time ago. This activity focuses on asset management along with several examples that have been carried out by Unud.

"They will be trained in asset management in general, understanding of assets, asset inventory, asset auctions, including various real examples that have been carried out at Unud," explained Prof. Adiatmika after opening the logistics management training.

Furthermore, it was explained that Unud and the Timor Leste government carried out quite a lot of collaboration and training. Such as cooperation with the ministry of health, the ministry of defense of the Government of Timor Leste. Meanwhile, with UNTL itself, this training is the second time. Previously, an international animal science seminar had also been held at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University.

The Vice Rector hopes that the training and management examples that have been carried out at Unud can provide benefits for UNTL in managing assets. What is certain is that management is based on rules adapted to the government in Timor Leste.

Meanwhile, Vice Rector III UNTL, Dr. Ligia Tomas Correia, S.Pt.,M.Sc explained that several employees and division heads from the UNTL logistics division attended the training. This aims to improve and better understand the implementation system procedures or work in more detail in that section. So that it can contribute to UNTL.

"In this case to increase human resources, creativity, and human resource capacity more in the logistics department," explained Dr. Ligia.

WR III UNTL added, apart from cooperation in logistics management training, in August there will also be cooperation related to business incubators.
