The LAMEMBA Assessor Team Visited the Master of Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University
Denpasar - The Assessor Team for the Independent Accreditation Institute for Economics, Business Management and Accounting (LAMEMBA) visited the Master of Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University (FEB Unud) in the framework of a field assessment of study program accreditation. The opening of the Field Assessment which was attended by the Rector of Udayana University, Vice Rectors, Heads of Institutions, Heads of Bureaus, Relevant Units, Dean of FEB and staff, Professors, Alumni and other invitees was held at the MM FEB Unud Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Thursday (22/ 6/2023).
Rector of Unud Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng., IPU in his remarks gave a glimpse of the profile of Udayana University which is currently in the form of BLU and will soon transform into PTNBH, as well as the role of the Faculty of Economics and Business. The Rector said that currently 94 percent of study programs at Udayana University have achieved the title of excellent and excellent accreditation. The good and bad of a study program can be seen from how the Tridharma is implemented through the study program accreditation standards. If the Tridharma implementation is good, then the accreditation will be good too. After success in accreditation, they must immediately go to international level. Unud becoming a PTNBH is a way to internationalization, currently there are only a few universities that are able to enter the international class, and Unud is trying and struggling towards internationalization.
The Rector in this meeting also explained the roadmap for the future development of Udayana University institutions. Besides that, it was also conveyed that FEB had an important role for Udayana University both in terms of human resources and others, and the Rector gave his appreciation to the FEB Unud academic community for their participation in advancing the faculty and doing the best things where there are still many challenges ahead. The Rector hopes that through this field assessment activity the Master of Management Study Program of FEB Unud can achieve the title of superior accreditation and Assessors can provide input for future faculty development.
The assessor team who attended this assessment consisted of Prof. Dr. Vanessa Gaffar, SE., Ak. MBA (UPI) and Lina Salim, SE, MBA, MA, Ph.D (Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia). On this occasion the Assessor Team said that this accreditation was a long process, especially for the Taskforce Team in preparing documents starting from adequacy assessment, to field assessment. Basically this assessment activity is a confirmation of the documents that have been received by the Team. We will discuss and conduct interview sessions with lecturers, educational staff, students and alumni as well as users to add data that has not been obtained. The Assessor Team hopes that everything will be in accordance with mutual expectations and the implementation of the assessment will run smoothly.
The opening ceremony of the assessment ended with reading the joint commitment to carry out field assessments by the Dean of FEB Unud Agoes Ganesha Rahyuda, SE., MT., Ph.D.
