60 Participants Participate in the 2023 Local Inspiring Figures Kick Off Organized by Bank BRI in Collaboration with the LPPM Business Incubator of Udayana University

PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Tbk in collaboration with the LPPM Business Incubator of Udayana University (Unud) held a "2023 Local Inspiring Figure Kick Off", which took place online via the Zoom Meeting application, Tuesday (16/05/2023). This is a collaboration with the Local Inspirational Figures 2023 program which is an empowerment program for local inspirational figures who are given training in leadership, communication skills, personal branding sociopreneurs and knowledge about literacy to local inspirational figures who have genuine initiative in making a positive impact and influence on society and the surroundings.

This training was carried out in 5 batches, with a total of 300 participants. The implementation this time was the first batch which consisted of 60 participants from Manado, Makassar, Medan, Denpasar and Jayapura which were attended by community leaders, village heads, Bumdes directors, Bumdes administrators, Cluster Chairmen and Cluster Administrators of MSME business actors, as well as business actors.

This Kick Off began with a presentation on the Social Entrepreneurship & Incubation Division delivered by Dani Wildan who stated that Bank BRI as a bank that is close to micro and small business actors has a role besides increasing business capacity through capital, but also wants to increase the competence of business actors.

BRI's Local Inspirational Program is a program that has been implemented since 2020 and has recruited approximately 700 local inspirational figures from all regions of Indonesia from various business backgrounds. It is hoped that business actors who take part in this training can pass and get certificates and knowledge obtained during the training and can provide real benefits in the future.

Meanwhile, the Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng., IPU in his remarks as well as opening the 2023 Local Inspiring Figures event said that Unud through the Business Incubator welcomed the implementation of this event, because it can participate and help banking partners in this case Bank BRI to organize activities this useful. The Unud Business Incubator Unit has the task of providing assistance and training to the Unud academic community.

Furthermore, the Rector hopes that the Business Incubator and all other activists through this training can be utilized as best as possible, so that the goals and expectations of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia can be run as well as possible by all participants who come from all regions of Indonesia.
