Dharma Wanita Association of Udayana University Handover Positions to 3 New Management
Dharma Wanita Association (DWP) of Udayana University (Unud) held a handover ceremony for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Engineering (Chairman of the DWP sub unit of the Faculty of Engineering) on Friday (12/5/2023) in the Nusa Room, Unud Rectorate, Jimbaran Campus. Previously, on May 8 2023 the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Ketut Sudarsana, ended his tenure as PAW (Inter-Time Officer) for the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, who is now being replaced by Prof. Linawati Postgraduate Director of Udayana University.
Thus, Sari Sudarsana, who replaced the Chair of the previous DWP sub-unit of the Faculty of Engineering, was the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Engineering, Mrs. Sulistyawati Budiarsa.
"So today there are three administrators of the Association of Dharma Wanita who are about to finish or retire, namely Gusti Ayu Putu Sri Hartini, wife of the late Prof. Dewa Sukrama as the Director of RSPTN Unud, and the Rector appointed Prof. Purwa Samatra as Director of RSPTN Unud so that his wife becomes Chair of the DWP RSPTN Unud," he explained.
Apart from these two officials, the Head of the Academic, Cooperation and Public Relations Bureau, Indra Kecapa, is also retired. This position is filled by Plt. Vice Rector IV Prof. Adiatmika so that Adiatmika's mother became a member of the DWP Unud. "So today our members are reduced by two people because the one who serves as Chair of the Postgraduate DWP is still Wadir I because his husband is also Plt. Postgraduate Director,” he explained.
Thus the total members of the DWP Unud are 23 people from the original 25 people. He hopes that the Head of the DWP sub-unit of the Faculty of Engineering can continue the programs left behind by the previous leadership.
This year the DWP Unud has planned an agenda until December. Next month's agenda for accompanying the leaders of Unud includes June 10 inauguration of professors, and June 24 graduation ceremony.
DWP Unud itself also has its own agenda, namely June 6 Tirta Yatra to the northern Bali areas, there are also social activities such as visiting orphanages, visiting the ex-wife of Unud officials.
“We are only active in three fields, namely education, health and social culture. In the field of education, we routinely carry out such as scholarships, handing out stationery assistance to elementary, middle and high school children. Other activities in the socio-cultural field such as visits to orphanages and nursing homes because parents also need entertainment for the elderly," he said.
