Prof. Ir. Linawati, M.Eng.,Sc.,Ph.D Appointed as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University

Udayana University (Unud) carried out the Inauguration and Handover of the Position of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering which was held on Tuesday (9/5/2023) at the Nusantara Room, Agrocomplex Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar. The inauguration was attended by leaders and officials in the Unud environment as well as the Dharma Wanita Association of Unud. In the inauguration ceremony, the Rector of Udayana University inaugurated the Dean and the Vice Deans of the Faculty of Engineering.

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering who was inaugurated today, namely Prof. Ir. Linawati, M.Eng.,Sc.,Ph.D, while the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning is held by Prof. Ir. I Nyoman Budiarsa, MT., Ph.D., IPU, Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance held by Ir. Kadek Diana Harmayani, S.T., MT., Ph.D., IPM., ASEAN.Eng, and Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information held by I Gusti Ketut Sukadana, ST., MT.

Rector of Unud Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng.,IPU in his remarks congratulated the Dean and Vice Deans of the Faculty of Engineering who were appointed today. In addition, thanks are also conveyed to the old Dean who has done his job very well so far, bringing progress to the Faculty of Engineering with various achievements. It is hoped that the new Dean and Vice Deans can devote themselves to the Faculty of Engineering in the future, and make the Faculty of Engineering run according to what has been done by other officials.

"In addition, the challenges for Udayana University in the future are enormous, therefore collaboration between units is needed. Together we will always be able to anticipate and advance our respective units. Our challenges in the future are truly extraordinary, becoming a PTNBH is our goal. ideals that must be pursued and hopefully in time we will reach a point so that we can devote ourselves more in the future at Udayana University," said the Rector of Udayana University.

The need for Udayana University to focus on working harder, doing community service, and doing other tridharma is the main thing that must be considered to advance Udayana University going forward. Leadership changes and assignments will always be made and this organization is needed to make Udayana University even more dynamic. In the future, Unud is also expected to continue to make changes both at the Rectorate level, faculty level and at the study program level and other units.
