Udayana University Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Muria Kudus University

Udayana University (Unud) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Muria Kudus University (UMK) at the Rectorate of the Bukit Jimbaran Unud Campus, Friday (9/12/22). The signing was attended by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information of Udayana University, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Coordinator of Cooperation and Public Relations of Udayana University, Sub Coordinator of Domestic Cooperation Udayana University, Rector and Vice Rector IV of UMK, Head of Institute of Information, Communication and Cooperation and Head of Division Cooperation and Development of UMK.

Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information of Unud Prof. Adiatmika said that Udayana University felt proud to be able to work with Muria Kudus University (UMK). This shows that we are highly motivated to build cooperation within the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) framework, so it is hoped that this collaboration will soon be able to help develop student exchanges, faculty staff exchanges, as well as activities that can support improving the performance indicators of the Rector of each University.

By starting this collaboration initiated by the Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, it is hoped that this will become an example for how we cooperate between universities between UMK and Unud. Of course this is in line with the Rector's expectation to become a center for development among other faculties. "Incidentally, we see that the faculties at UMK and the faculties at Unud are the same, so the opportunity for cooperation between institutions, between faculties and units is very possible for us to do further," he said.

Meanwhile, the Rector of Muria Kudus University, Prof. Darsono on this occasion conveyed that the arrival of the UMK group to Unud was in order to initiate a collaboration between Muria Kudus University and Udayana University. We, as private universities, certainly hope to get enlightenment and strengthening in our efforts to develop the Tridharma of Higher Education, be it education, research, and community service.

This is the signing of the MoU as an umbrella for Tridharma between UMK and Unud, and after that it will be continued with PKS between the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University and the Faculty of Engineering, UMK. In addition, UMK and Unud will also try to initiate activities that can be done together in the context of seminars, dissemination of innovations and so on. So far, UMK has also accepted students from Unud as inbound students at UMK. In the future, it is hoped that the scope of collaboration at the University, Faculties, and existing units can be expanded again.
