Association of State University Hospitals Collaborating with Udayana University Hospital Holds ARSPTN Symposium

The Association of State University Hospitals (ARSPTN) facilitated by the Ministry of Education and Culture in collaboration with Udayana University Hospital (Unud Hospital) held an ARSPTN Symposium with the theme "Strategy to Improve the Quality of PTN Hospitals and PTN RSGM at the Wantilan Prama Sanur Beach Hotel, 25 to 27 November 2022.

Chairman of the Committee Dr. Astuti Giantini, Sp.PK., MPH in her report said that this activity was attended by 120 PTN Hospital leaders and this was an opportunity to improve our quality at ARSPTN. This will also be a reference for how to improve or standardize to become the best Director or manager at a PTN Hospital. One of ARSPTN's tasks is to encourage PTN Hospitals and PTN RSGM to grow and develop independently into advanced hospitals. In this disruptive era, our task is becoming increasingly difficult, but it can be done. In order to improve service quality, ARSPTN held this symposium.

Chairman of ARSPTN Prof. Dr. dr. Nasronudin, Sp.PD., K-PTI, FINASIM in his speech said that if you want to progress, PTN Hospitals must seriously maintain their integrity and will, and he believes that the Directors of PTN Hospitals are resources chosen and chosen by the Rectors of their respective universities. respectively. To catch up with time, we must collaborate by utilizing all the potential that may exist. We must have our own advantages or uniqueness in PTN Hospitals based on our respective local wisdom. Let us build a collaboration both locally, nationally and internationally, especially in the field of research which is also very much needed by PTN Hospitals.

While the Rector of Unud, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng.,IPU in his remarks expressed the hope that other activities carried out by ARSPTN could be held again in Bali. The Rector also expressed his hope that he could do things that could be assisted so that this ARSPTN could grow and develop, of course, as an institution's responsibility to provide educational vehicles for students related to medicine and also provide health services to the community. As a university leader, his party is also ready to support PTN Hospitals to develop themselves. Through the Faculty of Medicine, his party will also open a new Study Program to improve the ability of doctors. Togetherness is the capital to move forward. This symposium is expected to provide a lot of information related to the future development of PTN Hospitals.

Management at Unud Hospital is expected to learn a lot from friends in the Association. Hopefully we can work together with hospitals that are more advanced in their field. Hospital progress indicators can be seen from the increase in the number of patient visits. Currently Unud Hospital has become type B and plenary accredited from KARS and is expected to become type A in the near future. To support this, infrastructure development has also been carried out.

The keynote speaker at this symposium is Prof. Rhenald Kasali, SE.,MBA.,Ph.D with the topic Leadership in Uncertainty. Prof. Rhenald Kasali conveyed a keyword that is "obviously a service must have a focus, a clear segment, positioning & a specific image/reputation".

The symposium also held an ARSPTN Organizational Meeting regarding the determination of HR status/nomenclature for PTN Hospitals and PTN RSGM, Main RSP for the medical profession and consortia: drug efficiency, BMHP, Medical Devices and others.
