Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Udayana University Celebrates the Peak of the 25th Anniversary and the 39th Family Board

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (FKH Unud) held a peak celebration of the 25th Anniversary (HUT) and the 39th Family Veterinary Medicine Board (BKKH) located in the Green Open Space Unud Sudirman Campus, Sunday (06/11/2022). The 25th Anniversary of FKH Unud and the 39th BKKH this time raised the theme "Sahitya Jagaddhita Sembagi Arutala" which means together creating prosperity with noble hopes and ideals for others.

There are several series of activities in welcoming the Anniversary and BKKH this time, including the Udayana Veterinary Competition (UVECOM), Indonesia Veterinary Student Festival (INTERVAL), Veterinary Sport Competition, Seminar on Mouth and Nail Diseases (PMK), Community Service in the form of FMD Vaccination Festival with the Department of Agriculture. Buleleng and Karangasem which involved approximately 200 students and Human Charity at the Orphanage in Sesetan. The purpose of this BKKH activity is to strengthen solidarity and kinship between the academic community of FKH Unud, said the Chair of the Committee, drh. I Wayan Wirata, M.Sc.

Head of BEM FKH Unud I Dewa Bagus Merta Anom in his speech said that FKH Unud which has reached the age of 25 is not a young age for Veterinary Young People, but FKH Unud has succeeded in becoming a mature Faculty and is also ready to answer the challenges that exist and become a Faculty trusted, especially in Indonesia.

Dean of FKH Unud Prof. I Nyoman Suartha, M.Si in his speech said that today is a happy day for the academic community of FKH Unud who have been able to celebrate the anniversary and BKKH offline again. The anniversary and BKKH actually fell on November 8, but because it coincided with Rahina Purnama Kalima and a weekday, the peak of the celebration was moved forward so as not to interfere with the teaching and learning process. Currently, FKH Unud is managed by 70 lecturers with 24 administrative staff and 11 laboratory assistants with a total of 641 FKH Unud undergraduate students, 223 professionals, and 38 postgraduates.

While the Rector of Unud Prof. I Nyoman Gde Antara in his speech conveyed congratulations and success to FKH Unud which celebrates the 25th Anniversary and the 39th BKKH, it is hoped that the contribution of FKH at Udayana University will be better and increase in the future. Furthermore, the Rector on this occasion said that currently Udayana University has achieved Superior accreditation, of course to follow up on this superior accreditation we must go even higher by changing the status of Unud from PTN-BLU to PTN-BH. "This is an extraordinary job and a huge challenge, but together we will be able to achieve our dream of becoming a PTN-BH," said the Rector.
