Six Students Represent Udayana University in Peksiminas XVI 2022

Vice Rector for Student Affairs of Udayana University Prof. Ir. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana, MT.,Ph.D.,IPU attended the Release of the BPSMI Art Ambassador (Indonesian Student Art Development Agency) Bali and at the same time the Staging of the Contest Towards the 2022 National Student Art Week (Peksiminas XVI) at the Natya Mandala Building, ISI Campus Denpasar, Thursday (20/10/2022). The XVI Peksiminas will be held from 25 to 28 October 2022 at Brawijaya University Malang, East Java.

38 art ambassadors will be dispatched in this event, from 10 universities in Bali to take part in 12 competitions out of 13 competitions held. Participants have gone through both administrative and performance selections which were carried out during Peximida which was held at ISI Denpasar. There are about 52 coaches and officials so that the number who participate in the contingent is around 90 people. He expressed his appreciation to all parties who have helped in the preparation of the XVI Peksiminas and hopes to get the best results. This was conveyed by the Chairman of the Committee Ida Bagus Suradarma, SE., M.Sc.

Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of BPSMI Bali, Dr. Anak Agung Gede Rai Remawa, M.Sn said for the Province of Bali, this activity was led by BPSMI Bali with the involvement of 10 universities. In this activity, there was one stem that was not followed from Bali, namely the Keroncong Putra competition. His party appreciates the university leaders who have supported the implementation of the 2022 Peksiminas, and the participants are expected to do their best to improve their rankings from the previous year.

The BPSMI Bali Art Ambassador was released by the Governor of Bali who in this case was represented by the Assistant for the Economy and Development of the Province of Bali, which was followed by a performance of the competition stalk.

Udayana University in the implementation of Peksiminas XVI sent six students, 2 each for the group vocal competition, 1 for the men's single singular, 1 for reading poetry, 1 for comic strips and 1 for poster design.
