Udayana University Holds Workshop on Scientific Writing, Publication and Intellectual Property Rights (HKI)

Udayana University (Unud) through the Reasoning and Creativity Unit of the Student Affairs Bureau held a Workshop on Scientific Writing, Publication and Intellectual Property Rights (HKI) which took place in a hybrid manner at the Wiswakarma Hall, Faculty of Engineering, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Tuesday (30/8/2022).

This activity presented three speakers, namely Prof. I Nyoman Darma Putra, M.Litt.,Ph.D with material for Scientific Writing, Dr. Wayan Nata Septiadi, ST., MT with material Tips and Tricks for Publication in Scientific Journals, and Ni Desak Made Eri Susanti, SH., MH with material at a Glance and Methods for Filing Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and as moderator Dr. Ni Ketut Arismayanti, SST.Par.,M.Par.

Chairman of the Committee Dr. Ns. Putu Ayu Sani Utami, S.Kep., M.Kep., Sp.Kep said that this activity aims to increase students' understanding related to how to write good scientific papers, then how to publish which will certainly be delivered by competent sources in their fields . In addition, Intellectual Property Rights means that the works produced by these students can also be recognized and registered as intellectual property rights which will also be conveyed on how technically and how by the resource person. So that later all of these student works can become a recorded work.

Participants in the activity were all students in the Unud environment from 13 faculties both online and offline. It is hoped that this activity can later become a new insight that students gain so that in the future the work or the results of this student's writing will be better.
