Rector of Udayana University Audience with the Indonesian Minister of Health
The Rector of Udayana University was accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the Director of the Udayana University Hospital, the President Director of Sanglah Hospital; and Dr. dr. Kwartantaya, Sp.KK on Wednesday (22/06/2022) had an audience with the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Budi Gunadi Sadikin in Jakarta. The Rector and his entourage were received directly by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia accompanied by the Inspector General of the Ministry of Health, the secretary of the Director General of Health Services at the Menkes Office House at the Widya Chandra Housing Complex, Jakarta.
On that occasion, the Rector reported the progress of the Genomic Squenching Equipment grant from the Ministry of Health to the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University and Sanglah Hospital, which had begun to function. It was also reported that Udayana University support for the Transformation program in the health sector of the Ministry of Health was reported. The Rector also requested assistance for infrastructure and medical equipment for the Udayana University Hospital which had been appointed by the Government as a referral hospital for participants at the G20 International meeting.
The Minister greatly appreciated Udayana University performance and promised to help develop Udayana University Hospital. To provide the medical equipment needed by the Udayana University Hospital, the Minister of Health will coordinate with the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Marves) Luhut B Panjaitan.
