Udayana University Receives a Visit from the Chairperson of the DPRD for North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province
Udayana University received a visit from the Chairman of the DPRD for North Central Timor (TTU) East Nusa Tenggara Province Hendrik F. Bana, SH in order to explore information regarding the number of quotas for new student admissions at Udayana University, especially for prospective students from the TTU Regency area. This is in order to improve the human resources in TTU Regency that are competitive and competent through higher education institutions where Unud is considered as one of the outstanding universities which has produced many qualified graduates.
The visit of the Chairperson of the TTU DPRD was received by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information at Udayana University together with the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and staff in the Bahasa Room of the Jimbaran Campus Rectorate Building, Wednesday (16/3/2022).
Chairman of the DPRD North Central Timor Hendrik F. Bana, SH on the occasion appreciated the acceptance from the Udayana University side. Furthermore, the chairman of the DPRD said his visit was to build communication between institutions, one of which was Udayana University in an effort to improve the quality of human resources at TTU, whose area is on the border with Timor Leste. His party also hopes to be able to discuss this in the midst of the limitations that TTU Regency has. Besides that, it is also hoped that the opportunity for local sons to continue their education at Udayana University will be given.
Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information of Udayana University Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika on this occasion hoped that the audience's objectives could be achieved. He also hopes that the TTU Regency government can facilitate students who want to continue their education amid their limitations, considering that currently the registration process takes place online.
While the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja explained related to the new student admission system at Udayana University, where there is a quota for the capacity of each study program and a quota for each admission path, namely SNMPTN, SBMPTN and Independent Paths and there is no quota per district. In the future, his party also hopes to visit TTU Regency to socialize the new student admission system at Udayana University.
