To Improve IKU Achievements and Learning Quality, LP3M Udayana University Holds a Workshop on Case-Solving Learning Methods and Project-Based Groups
The Learning Development and Quality Assurance Institute (LP3M) of Udayana University held an online Workshop on Case-Solving Learning Methods and Project-Based Group Learning (Team-Based Projects) through the Cisco Webex application, Tuesday (15/03/2022). This workshop was held in order to improve the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) and the quality of learning in the Udayana University environment.
Chairman of the Committee Prof. Putu Alit Suthanaya in his report said that the workshop participants were attended by around 120 participants from all faculties at Udayana University. This workshop activity is based on the IKU of State Universities number 7, namely classroom learning where it is expected that a percentage of courses will use the case-solving learning method (Case Method) or project-based group learning (Team-Based Project) as part of the evaluation weight. This workshop is expected to provide the same perception regarding the implementation of case-solving learning methods and project-based group learning in courses.
The Rector of Udayana University who on this occasion was represented by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja in her speech said that the Rector's performance contract with the Ministry of Education and Technology called IKU is a performance measure for universities to create adaptive universities based on more concrete outputs. IKU 7 is the percentage of Diploma and S1 courses that use case-solving learning methods and project-based group learning as part of the evaluation weights. The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs hopes that this workshop can provide benefits to all participants and of course to Udayana University.
This workshop presented 3 resource persons including Prof. Dr. Endry Boeriswati, M.Pd. from UNJ with the material on Strategy for Achieving Key Performance Indicators and Case Method Learning Methods, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Santyasa, M.Sc. from Undiksha with material on Student Centered Learning and Team-Based Projects, and dr. Wayan Sumardika, M.Med.Ed., Ph.D from the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University with material on Implementation of Case Method and Team-Based Project Learning Methods.
