Udayana University Won 2nd Place in the Press Release and Press Conference Category at the 2021 Diktiristek Public Relations Award
Thursday (13/01/2022) Located in Building D Kemdibudristek Jakarta, Udayana University won 2nd place in the Press Release and Press Conference category of State Universities Public Service Agency at a prestigious event in the field of public relations, namely the 2021 Diktiristek Award with the theme "Implementation of Independent Learning on an Independent Campus". The selection of this activity is carried out from September-October 2021.
The types of competitions include (1) the Kampus Merdeka Award (2) the Diktiristek Cooperation Award (3) the Diktiristek Public Relations Award and (4) the Journalist and Media Award. On this occasion, Udayana University participated in 2 competitions, namely the Cooperation Award and the Public Relations Award. Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, MP was present in this activity as well as receiving an award.
This 2021 Diktiristek Award is held in addition to fostering a positive competitive spirit in the Public Relations of PTN, PTS, and LLDikti as well as an exchange and "lesson learned and best practices" event on public relations performance. In addition, this activity is also useful for introducing public relations institutions, programs and products as well as encouraging the strengthening of public relations units.
In his speech Plt. The Director General of Higher Education Prof. Nizam said that usually this public relations award is held at the end of the year with awards in only 2 categories, namely the public relations award and the journalist award, but this year there are 2 new competitions, namely the collaboration award and the independent campus award. The addition of these two new categories is of course to encourage a tremendous transformation in this country through the Merdeka Learning program at the Merdeka Campus. Furthermore, Prof. Nizam also said that in 2022 the Directorate General of Higher Education will open up opportunities for the Independent Campus Independent Learning Program at the national level which of course need support from all State Universities Leaders.
