Unud Receives a Working Visit from the Chancellor of the University of Samudra, Signed MoU
Denpasar - Saturday (18/12/2021), the Rector of Samudra University (Unsam), Aceh together with the Head of MBKM Visited Udayana University. The visit was received by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs representing the Rector of Unud and the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Head of BKM and Chair of the MBKM Working Group took place in the USCC Room, Agrocomplex Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar.
This working visit is in the context of implementing the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program which is a policy of the Minister of Education and Technology-Dikti. During his visit to Unud, Unsam wanted to dig up information regarding the implementation of the MBKM program at Udayana University as well as establish cooperation, which was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by the Rector of Samudra University with the Rector of Unud who was represented by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs.
In this activity, there was also an explanation about the management of MBKM at Udayana University which was delivered by the Chair of the Unud MBKM Working Group, and continued with a discussion regarding the implementation of the MBKM program.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Unud Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja conveyed that Unud welcomed the visit from Unsam and the Memorandum of Understanding signed would later be followed up through the signing of the PKS by the relevant work units, both at Unud and at Unsam, one of which was the implementation of MBKM activities.
While the Rector of the University of Samudra, Dr. Ir. Hamdani, MT said that the university was only established 7 years ago, of course it is still young and one of the programs is to improve student competence. With the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding, it is hoped that it will be followed up with PKS which leads to the development and improvement of the competence of lecturers and students in the field of entrepreneurship and tourism. Besides that, the implementation of student exchanges for the MBKM program is also carried out.
